William Moller

Will Moller is an Entrepreneur in Residence with Nidus Partners, bringing biology-related academic research experience to the organization.  Will devotes much of his current efforts to coordinating laboratory activities for portfolio company X-tend Energy LLC which is developing a lithium-ion battery technology invented at and licensed from Washington University in St. Louis.  In addition to portfolio company development, Will assists with the sourcing and derisking of new technologies for the pipeline and portfolio.

Background

Will recently graduated from Stanford University with distinction, where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a M.S. in Biology.  Following graduation, Will continued his research efforts with the Palumbi Lab at Hopkins Marine Station where he performed genetic sequencing and microsatellite genotyping to address questions of larval dispersal and population structure along the California coast.  Working with the researchers of Hopkins Marine Station, Will developed a strong familiarity with the unique demands and challenges of research at academic institutions that continues to serve him well in his collaborations with research  personnel at Nidus.

Will has also worked with the Colorado Division of Wildlife in collaboration with the University of Wyoming and the Bureau of Land Management on research to monitor ecosystem health of the sagebrush semi-desert to inform rangeland management practices.
