Lowell Jones, Ph.D. Joins Aerovalve LLC as Lead Engineer

Lowell D. Jones, Ph.D. has joined Nidus Partners portfolio company AeroValve LLC as the Lead Engineer, responsible for designing the market-ready prototypes of the energy savings pneumatic valves currently being developed by the company.

Lowell is an experienced R&D Engineer with over 20 years of industry experience and a proven track record of enabling teams to produce innovative solutions to challenging design problems. Lowell most recently was with Sion Power for over 5 years managing special projects which included R&D Planning for state-of-the-art lithium-sulfur battery technology. While with Zygo Corporation Tuscon, Lowell was part of the Optical Assembly Center 2001 startup division and managed a cross-functional team for a $8.5 million opto-mechanical project for Lawrence Livermore National Labs and National Ignition Facility.

Lowell obtained his Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
