The Start-Up Connection is our region’s premier showcase for early-stage innovative ventures where companies are provided a presentation table where they can promote their venture, network with attendees and meet with potential investors. Last fall’s event at Edward Jones drew and attendance of 300 people and 35 ventures.

On May 8, Start-Up Connection will be held at a new venue, T-Rex in downtown St. Louis. It is recommended that you apply early, since there is a limitation on available space. There is no charge to participate, and applicants will be notified towards the end of April if they have been admitted to present. There are two ways to register for Start-Up Connection:

1. For companies, we encourage you to apply for a table in order to share with the public who you are and what you do.

2. For individuals and others interested in networking with the companies in attendance.

Where Capital Meets BIG Ideas

InvestMidwest is a venture capital conference that showcases 40-45 companies from throughout the Midwest in the three industry tracks of life sciences, technology and clean energy/sustainability.

The 300+ attendees include investors from top venture capital firms.

For the past year or so, however, the three companies have been enmeshed in an unlikely coalition, forming energy startups through a partnership called Nidus Partners.
